Remus Lupin would not exactly stick out if he wasn't one of the worst troublemakers Hogwarts' records ever saw. People sometimes say he is mad, or sick, but nobody really seems to know; and maybe it is more fun when you can keep spreading rumors.
He is the quiet, reasonable voice of his group and likes to remain rather in the background, but that doesn't mean he isn't sociable. Usually, he will be oblivious to girls' smiles, or refuse to see them.
Friends are to him those who know everything about him, those he spends practically all day with (except if he decides to do some studying on his own, and that is not all that rare). He has no close friends besides the Marauders and Lily Evans, and secretly one other person... but he will be dead friendly to you as long as you don't try to insult him.
Enemies he can handle. Moony excels in Defense and knows a lot more than some teachers about it. However, he does not dislike or even hate anybody easily, and will literally only defend himself, as long as you don't go too far...
Love is crypts to him. It is not unlikely that some girls would like him for being a popular guy, but he would never want to inflict himself and his other personality onto somebody else and as such consequently turns down any girl. Who knows when he will break this habit.

EMMELIA & REMUS I could see them getting along, maybe they are somewhat "secret" friends. As in when they see each other in the halls they are friendly and what not, but they only really talk when it's just them two? Ideas? Thoughts? |

Emmelia & Moony; I can't really see that happening, because he already has a secret friend. xD And since Emmelia is 'brutally honest' he wouldn't stick around her for long. We can however make up a twist to make them meet and talk, like having to work together in a lesson, or in detention, or something. (:
Kris - it's because he secretly knows John is just adorable ;D
