This, ladies and gentlemen, is likely not the Amycus Carrow you had been previously expecting.

On the surface, he seems like a rather nice guy. Friendly, smooth, funny, and charming. He practically reeks refinement and social standing, but doesn't really go out of his way to flaunt it. Amycus is the type of guy to talk to everyone (well, as long as they're at least a half-blood) and gets decent grades. Most girls seems to adore him, even if he's dated them before.

Of course, it's all a ruse. Few people know about his deeper, darker side: his true feelings on blood-purity, his need for revenge, the anger and cruelty issues which lay inside him bubbling beneath the surface, and so much more.

Friends

[/color] aren't likely to be that close to him. In fact, unless you're his sister or one of those in his social circle of future death eaters, it isn't going to be a true friendship it all. Granted, he won't say that to you. It's not quite being fake, really; It's more like you're an acquaintance or someone he surrounds himself with. Even that has it's perks, as he tends to take good care of those who he considers worthy of it.

Enemies[/color] is sort of an iffy subject. Not many know of his true intentions, thoughts, and aspirations, but its obvious by the company he surrounds himself with that something about him isn't "good". Enemies will include people he's seriously pissed off, injured, blackmailed, and/or some other form of problem.

Lovers[/color] are few and far between, especially when it comes to serious relationships and being intimate. He doesn't sleep around, and has quite the reputation of being a gentleman. That being said, Amycus is a charmer to those who catch his eye. He loves to date women, romance them, wine-and-dine, flowers and chocolates, midnight strolls, etc. It's all very casual and fun for him, and he's up front with the women about his intentions; Myc isn't the commitment type. Don't try to get too involved. He's a bit of a flirt, truth be told, but is reserved when it comes to anything beyond a couple of casual dates. In addition, there's likely a few pure-blooded, high class girls whom he shows off to his parents at balls and whatnot.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]

- I don't think they'll get along, seeing as he's Gryffindor and Amycus is Slytherin. I can't see how they can be anything other than enemies.

Alexia & Amycus
- This girl's dated a lot of guys since her fourth year, but she really doesn't make an effort to remember who they are cause it just her form of revenge because of what her dad did to her mom and to their family. Having them going out on a couple of dates in the past few years doesn't seem like much of a possibility given their houses, but it would be interesting. And if that won't work, then they'll be acquaintances. She can't see him as an enemy or something since she really doesn't know him.

Samuel & Amycus
- My Death Eater! xD I'm proud of this guy. I almost dropped him a few weeks back, but I decided he is needed here. He was in sixth year when Amycus was a firstie at Hogwarts, so they'd know each other then. And he can always come to Yaxley if he needs anything cause he's like a mentor for aspiring DE's.

Since Emmelia has been around Death Eaters her whole life I would definitely say they know each other and would be fairly close at that. I think it would be interesting to see them flirt with each other, since she's quite a flirt herself. Perhaps they go on "social dates", that being said where they go on dates but not really for it being a date, just as friends type of deal? Ideas?

I agree that it's not too likely they'd have gone on dates or much, due to the house differences, unless perhaps she interested for some reason. If not, acquaintances works just fine :3

I think it'd be nice for him to have a Death Eater to talk to, especially when he starts to get frustrated. Not to mention it could help him to rally more Slytherins to be interested in "the cause" and whatnot.

Yes, I can see how they'd be close. Both of their mums went to Beauxbaton, they both have fox patronuses, and well, a myriad of other things including being pure-blooded twins raised in similar type households. xD As far as social dates, she'd be the perfect type just to bring around and show off as arm candy as well as good company for Amycus. To be completely honest, I could see him pursuing and being very attracted to her. She'd seem like the perfect match for him in his mind, especially as she's already accustomed to Death Eaters and whatnot. I completely understand if she wouldn't be interested in him that way, of course, but it's just a thought. :3

Now that I think about it it is almost as if they are destined to wind up together. They are so alike in so many different ways it's kind of funny. But no she would definitely be attracted to him, her parents would be elated that she would be around him often. I could see her almost wishing that they would just wind up together in the first place. Yet, she would be secretly terrified that Alecto would attempt to burn her if they wound up actually getting serious. She wouldn't show it around Alecto but she would definitely wind up telling Amycus of her worry if they wind up actually "together". Yes, I'm interested in these two, sorry for the rambling. I imagine that Amycus would be one of the few people Bellatrix could tolerate for an extended period of time. He's polite, charming without being lecherous, and he comes from a well standing pure blood family, all things Bellatrix can enjoys.
That's not to say they would be 'friends' however, Bellatrix has no friends besides her sisters, acquaintance might be a better term.

Definitely taking that thread! (Well, assuming it hasn't been taken by the time I finish this post, that is.) It's funny you should mention Alecto, because I always sort of thought/hoped that (whoever plays her/ends up playing her) would be the type to try and scare off any sort of serious relationship he attempted. :3

I concur; acquaintance suits these two well. He'd be interested in her, but in a sort of curious/analytical way.
